Waitangi Day

Today was Waitangi Day here in NZ. It's more or less the day where the modern day NZ was setup, where Maori's and white were written their rights so on and so forth.

I was expecting some cool traditional Maori culture going on, some shows, some wicked trade stands. Man was I disapointed. It seems as though the Maori culture has gone straight down the toilet. There were a bunch of different gangs there flashing off their colours, no body was dressed in traditionaly Maori clothing, no real Maori food was being sold. It was a pretty sad day truth be told.

That's all I have to say, I'm good, just cruising and reading heaps. Any books to recommend?

Later guys!

Hey man!

Check out "The Stranger" by Albert Camus. That's a good one.

If you want to know why drug dealers live with their moms and how the ku klux klan is related to real-estate agents then I would recommend to read "Freakonomics" by Steven D Levitt and Stephen J Dubner.
