It's been a while.

So what's new with my trip, eh?

Well, the Lonely Planet that I bought for the trip currently looks likes it's been to Hell and back. So I've read up on quite a lot of what I want to see and do. But the main problem is what to see when, eh? I guess I won't be able to answer that question until I'm actually down there and done with my DM course. I guess that's what I'm mainly worried about right now, getting through with that without any serious hick ups (read: accidents).

My backpack has arrived finally, so I'm going to go and pick that up today most likely. It took about a months waiting to get it, so hopefully I won't be disappointed when I get it. Actually, I hope that it's going to be whole, that there won't be any problems with it, and that I can just use it from the get go, and I won't have to send it back for some sort of repairs or something like that (like my camera, iPod, phone, etc).

Currently been looking for some paintball events that I can check out. Gotten two replies to my inquires on a NZ pball forum, both of which seem promising. One is from a Swede that is also going to be down there while I'm there (but he's going to have his gear with him, where as I won't). And he'll be playing too. Bastard. I could bring my gear with me, but some how the thought of lugging around 40kg worth of stuff around isn't exactly the most tempting of activities. Sure it could be fun, but also it would be stressful. There would be that many more things that I would have to worry about, both to maintain and keep safe. So, I'll just skip that step, and I'll just try and rent the gear while I'm down there if I ever get an urge to play some ball.

Not a whole lot to report just now, I'm just packing up my stuff into boxes, trying to sell some stuff before I leave. It's going very slowly, but that's my fault completely. Mainly cause I'm not doing a whole lot to help it move forward, but yeah...anyway.
