AXL Round 1

Note : Start playing the video before you start reading this blog.

So, this weekend I had to prove myself (in my head) to X-Fighters, MacDev, and myself. No one told me to, it's just something I told myself. Which could of made things bad, but a bit of stress can actually increase performance, which is basically what happened.

Day 1 was a pretty long day to say the least, we had played some pretty amazing games and then we had also played some pretty amazingly crappy games. The team performance was alright in general, but most of the time we had probably way too much individual play. My favourite game by far was when Manny had been put in the penalty box and we had to lock the game down until he had done his time. Game starts with 4 vs 5, we lose two of our guys within the first 30 seconds, so it was down to 2 vs 5. Me and the remaining player had to play calm and tight and just wait until Manny came out of the box. He finally bursts out, and then quickly trades with one of the most people dangerous players on the field. With that done, he opened up the whole game for me and my team mate, and we just rolled over them after that. It was an amazing game and an amazing feeling.

Day 2 was a short but hard day. Manny and I arrived late to the first game which we got our asses kicked by a team which we shouldn't of lost to. Being a bit arrogant, but we believe that it had to do because the two of us had been barred from the field for that whole game. We didn't have as many games as the first day, and weren't against any hard teams either. But yeah, whatever. Our last game for the day was probably the best game I've ever played. I put all my heart, hate, focus, and energy into destroying the opposition. Which is something I did, hard. I bonus balled every one who walked off the field who I shot off, and I got pretty agro with their coach for trying to call a penalty on us for two of our players simultaneously bunkering someone out.

Sadly, we took 7...out of 8. I was given comments from people who I didn't even know that I was kicking a lot of ass this weekend from my bunker. I was even given a comment that I was too aggressive, and I felt I was holding back. Funny.

There was also controversy going on in the team as to who was getting right amount game time. Pretty lame, actually really lame. Two people on the team didn't understand why they weren't getting as much game time as others, they were told the strongest team was being put on, but there's some debate as to if it really was the winning team on the field. Hmm...yeah. Anyway.

I took a few photos from the event, but not too many of me. I've only converted a few so far, but you can check them out here. It's on my Facebook so far, but will up date my Picasa account soon enough.

Aight guys, see'ya.

Cursed?

Am I cursed? Yes, I am.
With what? Honesty.

Here goes, I actually did this.

Tonight was trivia night at the local pub for CSers. Brought some non-CS friends. There was lonely girl at the bar. I brought her to the table to talk to my lonely friend. Later on in the night she starts making out with my friend, and then with some other random bloke right in front of my friend.

I decide, with all my heart, to call her a door knob. Cause everyone gets a turn. HAHAHAHA!!!

Am I an asshole or just a guy who calls'em the ways I sees'em...hmmm...

Yes, I am a bit drunk while writting this...awesomeness!

Whoop

Bloody hell guys, what can I say, except for: I HATE insurance companies. I tried to have my insurance extended, but for some random, unexplainable reason, I can't have it extended since I've been travelling for more than one year. Very very random. It just doesn't make any sense, what so f*cking ever. Absolutely ridiculous. I've sorted it out now, so no reason to get any more worked up about it more than I have to.

I had a paintball practice the other weekend, and damn it was good. I had played the weekend before, which went okay, but not too spectacular. However, this weekend was even better because I was on a killing spree. We had some 3 on 3 matches, and the winners had to stay on. And my team, we stayed on for about 5 rounds. One game I took out all of the players - big confidence boost I must add. Also, there was a dad, his son, and his sons best friend who had been told by MacDev to come down to the field if they wanted to learn something from us. They hung around for the whole day, and afterwards, the three of us who were talking to them during the day were more or less offered a coaching position for the two of them. The dad will pay for the paint, and then 50 AUD on top of that. F-ing Sah-weet! Nothing is for sure though, so we'll see what happens. But if it does go through, I'll have my own little Padewan! Speaking of which, check out my Star Wars Museum album. Pretty cool exhibition, so many I wants in there.

What else is new? Not a whole lot, I've been getting a bit more into the whole CouchSurfing thing via going to some events and meeting some more people. Which was been quite fun, although pretty annoying when it comes to being out late, since I don't really know the bus lines just yet. And Sydney my Stockholm based friends, is MASSIVE! One thing that I really despise about the buses here is that some of them are PrePay only, which makes perfect sense, but it's bloody annoying mind you.

Can also recommend that you watch Slumdog Millionaire and Watchmen.

Below is a photo that I took before I left Welly, which depicts my different states of being. From left to right: Office boy, Party boy, Active Boy, Construction Boy, and Chill-out Boy. If you're interested in how I took the photo, don't bother to ask me.

The second photo is something I came up with when I was on Maria Island for Christmas...don't ask me. I thought it would turn out cool...and...yeah...no comment. Check out Return to Sydney for some more photos.

And the YouTube clip is a good comercial I found for a Ozzie beer, a good beer at that, too. And a small note from Vanilla Ice - awesome.

Happy Days

Great news guys, I have a place to live now, and it's a pretty sweet place. I have access to a mint computer with a great internet connection (along with Photoshop and other programs). Where am I? Randwick, right next to two big parks where I can excersice, do photography or even just take a nice stroll through.

All I need to do now is find a job. Yay.

Bah....

I have a practice...today in...well, it's 00.52 and it's at 10.00 but I have to wake up at 07 to make it...awesome!

Not drunk the slightest bit, just been a long day. Went to Mardi Gras, which is the Sydney version of gay pride parade. It was a lot of fun! Went with Little J from Sveedala. Been with here more or less the whole day...damn...

Some new photos (not from tonight though). And I'm gonna go and take a shower to cool down. It's humid as here. Blah.

See'ya!

Compliments to the heart

My time in TAS is now over and I have some new adventures waiting for me here in Sydney.

I had a pretty good last night in Hobart, and ended up with me not sleeping at all until I got on the flight bus which I had to catch 04.00 in the morning! I was drunk, not totally f-ed up, but I was drunk when the bus arrived. My friend, Chad Kroger look-a-like was there to see me off, and before I had left, he gave me a pretty nice compliment. He said he saw me as a local. That really felt good to hear. Gave him a big hug and left him to his own devices.

Later at the airport, I covered my backpack with an animal body bag that I had bought at a veterinary (which was big enough to hold a rot whiler they claimed). And then, the first time in my entire life, I had to weigh my carry on bag. It was too big and too heavy. Damn! So I stepped aside, and just started placing things all over my body instead, and removed some of the pockets from my backpack. Then I heard on the radio from one of the clerks that the police were keeping an eye on me. If you saw me, you would understand. I had military grade pockets hanging off my belt like they would be holding grenades or clips for a gun. And they fact that my backpack is Blackhawk didn't help the matter either. But when I walked by I over heard them realizing that I had just removed the pockets to make it comply with the airline standards. Once I got past the security check point, I put it all back into my bag. Dumb ass. WHAT DO YOU THINK I WAS GOING TO DO?! The guy was just doing his job, but being a douche at the same time.

Anyway, got to the hostel, scored some free breakfast and sleep the afternoon away.

Tomorrow I'm going out to a CouchSurfing meeting and meeting my old Swedish tutors daughter from Mexico here in Sydney. Random. Very small world. Oh! Really random. The older couple in front of the check-in line saw my backpack and asked if I had done any hikes in TAS, and then we got to talking and they had been at a wedding which was held next to the cherry orchard I was working at in Ouse(and we heard the music all night). Very random. Very small world guys. A lot smaller than you actually realize!

Ok, need to have a small feed. Think I need some more sleep. And speaking of sleep, the hostel I'm at is in a primo location. Close to the water, and reminds me of Hamarby Sjรถstad, but Aussie.

Ok guys, talk to you later yeah.

I hates you weather!

I was meant to hike on the Walls of Jerusalem. Horrible weather the whole week.

Going to Sydney on Thursday - 06.00 is the flight - and I'm drinking Wednesday night. Sah-weet!

Back to life.

This will be short, again. Sorry.

Hike went well, although it was a different hike than planned. We were meant to go to Federation Peak, but went instead to the Tasman National Park instead and it was planned it would be 3 day hike, and only turned out to be a 1 night because it was so easy, and wet. Very wet. So wet we encountered leeches. I had four little bastards on me! But it was fun non-the-less. Video coming soon I hope.

Anyway, going to the Walls of Jerusalem most likely on Wednesday, by myself though, and plan to be there for about 6 days. Don't worry, I'll have an EPIRB on me (GPS emergency beacon) for if something horribly wrong happens. But I'm planning for about 8 days. So heavy pack.

Will be heading to Sydney on the 15th, where I'll be able to post some photos and hopefully some videos too.

Till then, c'ya later!
